Is it worth reading the book if I've seen the movie?

Has anyone seen the movie "The Help" and also saw the movie? If so I'd really appreciate your input. How was it different? Or was it very similar? Thanks !

I haven't read this book but I am definitely planning to based on some reviews I have seen,I think most of the time the book is better than the movie anyway :)
