Hi there, my name's Layne Magnuson. I've come here to ask for a bit of help really, or at least in order to put my conscious to rest knowing that I've helped a little bit. This is my mom's novel, she's worked so hard on it for so long, and I think it's so good, but of course I'm her son. She's entered it into this amazon contest, and out of 10,000! people she's made it to the top 500, now publisher's weekly is going to read the novel, and decide if she should be in the top 100, and after that it goes to public vote. I just really wanted to reach out to this community, and ask that you read this free excerpt and leave good reviews, and if you don't like the book if you'd please keep that one to yourself [sorry!], and that if the book does make to the top 100, you all vote to help this cause. Quick info about the Author, she's a foster, and adoptive mother. She's housed over 20 kids! Her husband's a veteran from both desert storm, and the Iraq conflict, she works full time, and writes in her spare time, while caring for all these crazy kids So any help would be appreciated guys, thanks.
