Rowling go back to Harry Potter

Post by dea0045 »

For all of you Harry Potter fans out there...
Did you read The Casual Vacancy? Were you disappointed?
I am reading it right now and I don't think that it is nearly as good of a story or as interesting as HP. I also just found out that she wrote a book titled The Cuckoo's Calling under the pseudonym Robert Galbraith. Is it any good?
Sadly, I dont know if any of her books will be able to compete with HP...

I love her Harry Potter books. I have tried to read "The Casual Vacancy" and quit it. It was so boring! Also I didn't like the writing. I have read "The Cuckoo's Calling" and liked it, but don't except the magic of Harry Potter series.

That is how I feel about The Casual Vacancy as well. I have it on audio and I'm having a hard time wanting to listen to it... And even read by someone I really like. I knew not to expect HP but I thought it would be better than it is. I might have to give the other one a try though.
