Swami and Friends by R. K. Narayan

Post by rooserfeather »

This novel is one my favorites. Swami, the main character, is a little boy who lives in Malgudi, Narayan’s imaginative town of South India. In this book, the author looks in the children’s world and the society of India in colonial times nicely with a bit of humor.

I've never heard of this book before. So I looked at Amazon's description of Swami and Friends. It seems like an interesting book.

School bored me too, so maybe I could relate to this book.
