I have a huge heart for animals, specifically dogs. The cover and name of this book can be a little miss leading. Yes this is a book about a dog and a woman, however I thought that this would pull on my heart strings a little bit more than it did. The book was mostly about the Lila, the woman, and her anger. Than her relationship with Grace, the dog, and how it seemed to help her get past the anger. It was a good book, and I did enjoy it. It just wasn't quite what I was expecting. I would give this 4 out of 5 stars.
