The Family Story Collection is a book of 75 fables. The lessons in this book are based on honesty, integrity, love, friendship, family, courage, resposibility, fairness, judegement, and happiness. The book is based on disney stories from The Small One to Mulan. Family Story Collection is a book of mini stories that tell the lessons that the readeris suppose to learn at the beginning. For example “ Your family is your most precious possession” from Bambi tells of when Bambi and his father get caught in a forest fire. They both save each other and escape from the flames. Another example is “Sometimes the most exciting place to be is in the middle of a book” from Beauty and the Beast. Belle is looked differently because she loves to read. Even though people don’t understand does not mean she stops reading. It’s the only place where she can escape into magical lands. These and many more other fables are in this book. The illustration are beautiful. They look exactly like the movies, so like like. Fables have been around for a long time. So long, there are so many versions or spins on each fable. This book is a great way to teach younger children of fables with a disney twist. I rated this book a four because I feel that for your readers the lessons are not spelled out in the stories very well. So inclusion in my opinion thsia is a good book for children and parents to share.
