Your review is very informative and helpful. This sounds like an interesting book to read, however I will pass on reading it due to the pacing issues and errors that you mentioned.

Two septuagenarians meeting by happenstance, bonding, and sharing a harrowing adventure together? YES, please! Sounds like a fun read. I hope this book shows up among my reading options. I thoroughly enjoyed reading your review, Priya! I will add this one to my list. :)

Wow, what an outstanding review!
The Aztec Pendant is going straight to my Want-To-Read shelf. I love cozy mysteries, and I wonder how Scott and Kathy will deal with this situation. Additionally, I'm very curious about the food descriptions haha, I'd love to know more about the Mexican cuisine.
Despite the pacing issues, I'll give this book a try without hesitation. Thank you for sharing this review with us, Priya!

Although I love adventures, the issues with the pacing and the predictability factor discourage me from reading this book. I am glad you could enjoy it.
Thanks for the review.

Another thrilling story review by you, and it looks great by reading the highlights of the book. Importantly the cover picture and the name itself feels mysterious. Good review,if I get the chance I will read this book.

A quick detour becomes an unexpected adventure. I am eager to read more about what happens to Kathy and the origins of her connection with the murderer.
Thank you for an interesting and informative review.
