Official Review: Unspoken Love By Ankush Boravke
I've read many books some by first time authors some by vet authors, so far some have been bad, some have been good, some have been fantastic and others plain out boring. I've even read and proof read some and edited it before the authors have published their books.
So, believe me when I say this pains me to have to be so harsh but you don't have a book out their that doesn't expect to have a un-honest review. This book while very interesting in plot and storyline. It lacked in grammar, spelling and sentence structures that caused a lot of problems reading some wording just didn't fit.
I feel honestly awful for having to say this but, I feel the Author or a editor needs to try and edit and proof read the whole story again it feels like this story had been rushed to make a deadline or something.
This story is about a kid named Laurent and his friends going threw the motions of any high school students. Laurent falls in love with a very pretty Indian girl named Simran after meeting her in the cemetery after visiting there moms graves.
He asks to drive her home and they stop for drinks at the local Burger King where he accidentally flirts with her making her run off. He then realizes he forgot where she said to drop her off. As, he goes off to school she's all he can think about. Meanwhile his friends realize he has finally fell in love and makes a pact to try and help their friend find his love.
Not realizing it's a lot harder then they think to find out where and who this beautiful girl that has caught their friends eye. As, his friends Winter, King, Peter, and Michelle have many more adventures together the story takes a interesting twist where they all get mixed up in finding treasure and fighting against time to save the life of someone they love. Little do they know but a traitor is in their mists.
As, they are confronted by the gang leader to do something that takes all their work to do and their brains to outwit and out smart, the felons it also comes down to a little fate as well a little smarts.
Now I have to say I did like this book it wasn't the greatest with all the issues. But if the author took a little more time and not rush it and proof read to get all the issues taken care of it should be really good. Some of the issues were first person speaking as well as for example and Laurent needs to said Laurent.
I hope this helps the author out and gives him some ideas on how to fix it. I rate this book a 1 out of 4. Thanks for the honor of doing this review. Keep smiling and writing.
