PAGE TURNER
What an amazing debut novel by MARIA RIHTE.
My friend suggested her novel VILLAGE OF SYCAMORE and I am so happy I followed her advice and read it. I could not put it down. It is a true page turner. I laughed till I had tears in my eyes. I’m sure my neighbors think I’m mad – I laughed that much.
Excellent choice for those blue, rainy days or to be read on holidays on beach.
Great characters, great plot, great dialogue. All the way round - an extremely entertaining read.
I loved her style of writing. It was so descriptive, catching onto those little details that eye can sometimes miss. Her sense of humor is fantastic.
Great book about the ups and downs of a woman artist's life on an island with large variety of characters - mostly lovable, a thorn here and there. Lovely lovely book. I'll put it onto my favorite shelf alongside Jane Austen, Helen Fielding, Marian Keys, Candace Bushnell and the Bronte sisters.
