One of my favorite comedies possibly because it was one the first that I ever saw. I fell in love with Shakespeare at first sight. I love the magic, the confusion, the misunderstandings and craziness. I love the Pyramus and Thisbe players and I love Puck! If only all of life's follies were but a dream within a dream!

A Midsummer Night's Dream is very lighthearted. It contains so much joy and humor; it's delightful. It's precisely what one would expect to find if they were to wonder too deeply into a forest on a warm summer's evening. The mischievous Fay tease and torment the human characters in a carefree manner, and the mortals are just as fun as the enchanted characters, probably more so. The romantic mix up that occurs between them is a riot! Not to mention, this play is quite short; you could read it in one sitting.

I like because it's light and it's easy and you just have good time while reading it or watching it.

One of the easiest of the Shakespeares. And what fun! Enjoy! (I wanted to be Titania, Queen of the Faeries when I was younger).

Do not ever see War of the Roses unless you are a really fanatical Shakespearian. I tried it, longest evening of my life. At least it was outdoors and there was a lovely moon to watch. I watched the other people there and everyone was falling asleep. It spans eight of his plays. I like Shakespeare, but this was a bit much.
