Growing Up A Killer by Charles Romano -This book is amazing!

Hi everyone!
Wanted to have my first post be about a book I stumbled across on Smashwords. It's called "Growing Up A Killer" by Charles Romano. It's a self-published piece that the author has made available through Kindle and all supported formats on Smashwords.
I tried the sample, got hooked, bought the rest, and finished within about ten hours.
All I can tell you is that it's very intense. The book is sort of hard to classify genre-wise but I guess you can use thriller or action-thriller as codifiers.
The story is about this seventeen year old named Gio, could be any normal kid, but his parents are constantly fighting and one night he actually hears violence from their bedroom. A series of events takes place that mentally breaks him to the point that he decides he has to kill his parents for all the anguish they put him through. But before he can pull it all off he needs some help and some training in order to pull the trigger when the time comes.
Since there is a lot of stuff dealing with the mental break aspect you could even throw in psychological as a genre.
Supposedly its first of a series and the author previews parts of the second volume on a Facebook page that I also tracked down.
If you are a fan of the genres I described or are even slightly intrigued by the synopsis I posted do yourself a favor and pay the $2.99 to download this book (I don't think there is a physical version yet)!
