A nice science fiction book "Days of Future Found" by M. K. Wark, which has setting of year 2039. When Earths environment is so devastated that it becomes quite unfit for humans. Therefore so humans migrate to more livable areas. Nice job done by author to create awareness among masses about alarming climate change.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

The fact that this book is about climate change makes me want to read it right away. In the current years we have seen negative climatic change that might ve dentrimental to human kind in the coming years. It is intriguing to some extend!

This book reminds me of the many dystopian novels and films that I have seen or read including The Giver and The Island. I see many parallels to the authors that you described in your review. I also like that the author uses real world events like the changing climate of our world as the basis for his novel. I also think that the author poses a lot of questions that we can ponder right now about freedom versus security.

This sounds like a deep philosophical novel with an interesting take on the post-apocalyptic genre. It's a shame about the errors because it seems like a book that's right up my alley. Thanks for the great review!

Looking half one's age is probably what everyone wishes for, thinking about the effects of climate change is somewhat scary. Thanks for this review, I should enjoy reading the book.

Well written review. I particularly like how it captures in one statement what I got out of the Amazon sample:

"How do you establish an acceptable balance between personal independence and the demands of society?"

However, I wish to note that these errors were the only reason that a star was docked. Days of Future Found is a book that makes you take a hard look at the environmental changes taking place in our world today.
Sorry, but could you elaborate? Why is that a bad thing about the book?

I have never read a dystopian novel before, seems like this one will be quite an interesting read.

Days of Future Found by M.K. Wark is a different sort of dystopian novel. There are no heroes or action scenes here, though there is a touch of intrigue. Instead of typical post-apocalyptic fare, the author uses the story to evoke questions that, while particularly relevant to ‘Elders,’ are equally pertinent to many ages. How do you establish an acceptable balance between personal independence and the demands of society? In an increasingly uncertain world, how do you determine what is ‘true’? Wark also explores several themes in the novel. Through Ella’s mental and physical journey, the author explores the ethics and morals of genetic manipulation, pushing the boundaries of comfort zones, possible concepts of a meaningful life, and the value of risk-taking. The book also delves into elder rights and the making of end-of-life decisions.
These are important questions that we should be pondering, especially with the advancement of technology and in the current global climate. Congratulations on such an insightful review!

It's a riveting dystopian novel with a seemingly audacious protagonist called out for a special study away from the compound when other elders are disappearing in like manner.
It's enthralling that the author depicts a devastated planet through climate change as though to warn of the future we may be headed to. Sadly, a star has been docked for this seemingly engaging novel of which I agree with unless it is revised for its errors in grammar. Nice review and congratulations on BOTD.

Mostly impressed by the descriptive method used in the book, the author offers a vivid and well elaborated explanation of every single thing, you are drawn into it as you see and experience things that he wants you to see, each character seems to have a story of their own to tell and it makes one feel like they all will clash at a common point and the fact that there might be a sinister evil lurking in this some what perfect world makes one want to continue reading and see what it is and if it will be solved, in short I would say the book is a catcher and a master piece in its own right
