Of course, it would be easy to stand for our believe when every thing is fine.

I personally think it is hard to write about any religion without either advocating for or against it. If this writer was truly able to remain neutral and simply focus on the story, kudos to him! Thanks for bringing this out in your review.

I like well written and captivating plots that draw you in. I also like that this is told with a focus on the plot rather than on religious biases and differences. I'd love to read this. Thanks for your descriptive review.

It looks like a motivational book that explores the relationship between religion and the criminal justice system. Congratulations on Book of the Day!

Religion, when properly understood, is a source of comfort. From the well written review,it is obvious that the trials of our faith only help equip us for the complexities of our human existence. It is a fantastic review...!

Thank you for your great review. From reading the sample, I did enjoy the story so far. I am a Christian, but not catholic, but I believe I would be able to follow the plot. I'm curious how the characters relate to each other and all of the suspense and secrets. I am going to add this to my list of books to read.

In the first paragraph of this review, there is a question of "how far can you go to stand for what you believe? I will like to understand the reason behind such a question as this and to know how Father Anthony died. Nice review

I was hooked after reading the first page of the sample. Being Catholic and having attended Catholic school, the official review is excellent and brought back some memories of grades 1 - 12. The priests involved in the story are assigned to the prison by their bishop but a few of the characters were faced with situations where young teens accused them of inappropriate actions with a student, they were there to save souls and serve penance for sins committed in their pasts. The story revolves around the young financially well-off man name John that came to the prison to pay respects to his uncle and collect the deceased priest's possessions' which John saw as a financial gain for himself. I have only read the sample so far but plan to read this well written book.

Tolerance of other religions is always a positive. While I am not a Catholic, I believe that this book supports a theme of acceptance and the search of factual truth. Good review.

Given that the practices, prayers, and setting of this story all project Catholicism in its fullest expression, religious readers are sure to dive right into Servant's book.
