This book addresses mayhem many young people are facing these days. It's a beautiful piece really. With the good development of the characters, it's a piece I will enjoy.

I enjoy coming of age stories, bit I cannot read books that tell sex stories that involves children. Good review, but I am not able to read the full novella. Thank you for your review.

Awwww poor Lizzy!
Even though I haven't started the book yet but the review has made me feel emotional for the girl .At such a young age and she's experiencing sexual abuse. This is annoying. The review is already teasing me to read the entire story.
Awesome review! Congrats.

Books like this break my heart. Lizzy’s parents should have done better by giving their daughter a good sexual education. Educating kids on sex is something most parents shy away from but it needs to be done to protect kids from predators like Lizzy’s cousin Joey. I would love to read this book. Thank you for this review.

This seems to be an intriguing story, as it contains such delicate topics. I'm glad to know that fact that it's well-written, and the development of the characters part of this intriguing story reinforce the pleasant work created by the author.  I'm sure I'll enjoy it.

From a sampling, this is different from other short novels I have read. The story follows a young farm girl who learns about adult "actions" from her cousin and from caring for the farm animals. While it is likely not for everyone especially who are young, some might enjoy this quick read. Congrats on being the BOTD.

While this sounds like a well-written book with an interesting plot, I will pass on this one due to the sexual content. Thank you for the informative review.

I couldn't agree more. It's great that we can bring light to the matters that are difficult to talk about, but some could be triggering.

Filled with vivid descriptions and detailed events, today's BOTD is a 32 page novella about young Lizzy, her Christian family, and the personal experiences that shape their lives both individually and together as a family unit. Not sure if this is one that interests me, but we'll see. I appreciate your review, and I've downloaded my free copy.

Thanks!! :-)

From the review, I'm not really sure what this book is all about. It certainly doesn't seem to be anything that I would find all that interesting, being a city kid and not much interested in farm life. So I'll be skipping it. Nevertheless, congrats to the author for achieving BOTD.

Sex education is an issue for caregivers. The cow episode was certainly not the best way to educate Lizzy. This book deals with some troubling issues, but I hope it will help others dealing with similar problems. Thanks for your insights into the novella. Your review piqued my interest in the story.

What happened to Lizzy happens to a lot of people on a daily basis and it’s a very sad experience. I hope she was able to confide in someone. I’ll pass on reading it. Thank you for the review
