I am not too keen on anything related to protests, controversy, political correctness etc. This happens already too often in real life, which is why I don't fancy reading about it.

This sounds absolutely correct and I totally see what you mean thank you

Many people do not realize that their actions can be insulting to others. I am glad this book addresses this topic. Thank you for your review.

'Official Review: Whole Lot of Hullabaloo' by Christopher Fried is a good commentary on the fictional story of a tragic situation turning into a resounding comedic affirmation of individuality for avid readers. It is thorough and enriching. The point that the author challenges the political correctness in the twenty-first century and satirizes many socio-political issues is worth mentioning in the review. Also, the point that the story explores issues of racial stereotypes and how it impacts people of color, as mentioned in the review, is remarkable for readers. It was great to learn that the book's thought-provoking premise is appreciable for readers!

Whole Lot of Hullabaloo by Christopher Fried is a slow but steady and interesting novel that discuss some social-political issues. What a review!

I too thought this would be a more juvenile book, due to the title. I like surprises, though, and this sounds like a hidden gem. I look forward to reading this book, and experiencing the slower character development . Thank you for your honest review, it gives me some good insight.

Honestly, college years and the shenanigans of sophomores isn't a subject I fancy. I'll have to pass on today's book. Congratulations to Christopher Fried on the BOTD.

In the fictional story A Whole Lot of Hullabaloo, two unexpected heroes unwittingly find themselves in a predicament where people are calling for social justice based on their deeds. As the protocol police are always on the lookout, keeping an eye on others and issuing sanctions. I believe it is a story worth telling. Thanks for your review.

Thank you for the review. I have only sampled a few first chapters, and so far I agree with the reviewer on most points, especially that this book is an intellectually stimulating read and humourous too. I did not find it difficult to read the first chapters and I did not feel that they were slow. But the review has intrigued me to read further as it suggests that the book has much more to offer.
