It is never easy to abruptly become the sole caretaker for kids, no matter the circumstances. Therefore, I definitely am not in a hurry to relive my experience through Paul's eyes and would prefer to skip this book, but congratulations with BOTD!

Great and insightful review on "The Snow That Never Fell" by Paul Steven Stone. This book sounds like a interesting story about a divorced father of three children learning how to cope with his new status as being divorced and only being able to see his children every other weekend. I have put this book on my reading list because I want to learn who wins the Pinewood Derby after Paul finally puts the race car together at the last minute for his son, Mickey. Congratulations to the author for BOTD.

What we normally see is the struggles of women when they're going through Divorce or struggles of women later in life due to maltreatment from childhood. I am glad this author went out of the norm to make readers understand that men are not exempted from these struggles.

"Official Review: The Snow That Never Fell' by Paul Steven Stone unfolds the beauty of the fiction story for readers. By reading the review, we imbibe the best parts of the story. The point that this is a heartfelt story of a man, who is dealing with his divorce and being a single father of three is worth mentioning in the review. The storytelling in the review is impressive. Also, as mentioned in the review, everything is centered around a Cub Scout's Father-Son Pinewood Derby. Learning that the book is recommendable to anyone who enjoys an excellent book to read on a Sunday afternoon was nice!

Going through a divorce cannot be easy. And for Paul, it must be easy. I'd love to see how he navigates this new terrain and what he does with his kids.

The author has a nice, easy-going writing style which is comfortable to read. The narration is similar to breaking the fourth wall, which can be amusing at times. I like that it is all centred around a single event yet explores so many topics and issues.

I seldom see books where the central character is a man where the story is about being a single dad so I’m looking forward to digging into this one to find out how the single dad coped the difficult challenges as he journeyed through his life with children in tow.

The story seems to revolve around Paul, the main character of this story, and how he faces a challenging life after his divorce from Marilyn. The circumstances and challenges a single parent experiences seem worth reading in this story.

Thank you for this detailed review. I had this book in my bookshelf and just got it as the free book of the day. I can't wait to start reading it. Seems like an emotional story.

Thank you for your review. I also like the author's style of writing. In some ways, I could relate to things he wrote, especially about the racing car. I have added it to my list of books to read. I'm glad it was edited well. I'm curious to know about Paul's childhood since you mentioned it and glad he went to therapy for himself..

Going through a divorce can't be easy, especially when it's one you didn't want. I'm rooting for Paul and Mickey to win the race. This book has some serious themes, which may not be a good fit for me, so I'll pass on it.

It sounds like this book could be quite moving; I suspect keeping tissues handy would be a good idea. I am keen to find out if they win the derby, although the car doesn't sound like it will.
