Reading a book that doesn't take itself so seriously is refreshing from time to time. This sounds like just the ticket. Great review!

I don't see why people should have problem with reality being portrayed in a book, loving violence movies doesn't mean one is violent, it an interesting book

Pomeroy seems like a pompous character, believing every woman he encounters will be interested in him. I will definitely be bypassing this one. Thanks for the review.

Thank you for the helpful review. It sounds humorous and like my sort of commentary on the world, but I don't know if I'd be able to stand the main character long enough to read the entire book. Still, I'll give it a try when I get the time.

The more things you will know.
The more that you learn,
The more places you'll go.

Glad the author use humor successfully with this one, but I'm not sure I care for the premise. I think I'll pass on this one but thanks for the review!

You have definitely got me intrigued. You make Pomeroy seem like the guy that everyone loves, even when they don't want to. I will be adding this to my list of books for sure.

Call Me Pomeroy is certainly not the best choice for everyone, as the personality of the main character is especially crude and sexualized, containing language that is not suitable for all readers. However, I’m happy to say that I thoroughly enjoyed the story, and experienced numerous laugh-out-loud moments. His unorthodox way of gathering people was cheerful. His musical abililities were so high that he wanna show that to everyone.

Sounds hilarious. I probably wouldn't like the main character, but I think I would like to read about his adventures. Great review!

 I downloaded the book rather hesitantly after reading the short preview on Amazon. After reading this great review I'm glad that I did. I look forward to "laugh out loud" moments and an interesting read.

Thanks for the review. Satire can definitely be inappropriate for some readers and they may be offended by it. I personally love it and love the review you have written!
