Books about religion are not my cup of tea but I've read the review and the book seems very heartwarming and a bit depressing with the main character struggling with his sexuality and thinking about suicide yet hopeful as well when he finds solace in God. I'm sure the book will find its reader. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

Hanging out with the most high has been written at the right time. A much needed guide and help in the society we are in today. The review has demonstrated the struggle mainly of sexuallty that seems to haunt especially the youth of to day.It has further awakened the society of God's presence and love. Even more that his thoughts will never align with ours . Congratulations to the author in reminding humanity of God and his ways.Well done

I don't want to be too critical of this book, so I'll give it a chance even though sceptical. Thank you for the review.

It's not every day that you come across a religious book that is both engaging and succinct. I appreciate how the author has creatively crafted a narrative that introduces readers to Jesus without judgment or bias. This approach is refreshing and makes the book accessible to a wider audience. The author's ability to balance religious themes with an engaging storytelling style is truly commendable.

I wholeheartedly agree with your review that Christianity and homosexuality are seldom discussed together by Christians, which makes this book particularly intriguing. The author's willingness to tackle these topics head-on is both bold and necessary, providing a perspective that is often missing from mainstream Christian discourse. I'm eager to delve into the author's views on these subjects and see how they are interwoven within the narrative.

One of the standout features of the book is the character development as you mentioned in your review. The characters are well-crafted and multi-dimensional, each contributing to the overall message of the book. The author's descriptive writing style keeps readers engaged, painting vivid pictures that bring the story to life. Thank you for the review it has definitely piqued my interest to dive in. Congratulations to the author on BOTD.

A great address of the controversy that surrounds faith (in particular Christianity) and being queer in this day and age. A very profound read, I agree that in the beginning there is a rather catchy part that makes you want to keep on reading, thanks for highlighting that in your review!!!

Wow, "Hanging Out with the Most High God Books One and Two" by Gordon Bell sounds like an incredibly powerful read. The story of Billy Lymon, an orphan grappling with his identity and finding solace in Christianity, seems both touching and thought-provoking. I appreciate how the author tackles such controversial topics as homosexuality and Christianity with sensitivity and depth. Despite some minor issues with excessive background information, the book's well-developed characters and profound messages about God's love and acceptance make it a standout. Thank you for the review. It was a bit confusing at first though, as I wondered how the murdered child could be contemplating suicide.
I'm glad for writers like this who take the bull by the horns to address issues that people generally prefer to sweep under the carpet. This will help those currently battling with meeting up with societal norms and expectations.

From what I have read, a woman commits murder, and the other is dealing with sexuality but can find solace in the house of the Lord. I guess that's where it gets its title, but I won't be reading this because it's nor something I would enjoy. Congratulations on making a book of the day.

In a tale of tragedy and redemption, an elderly woman murders a young girl, fearing she couldn't raise the child properly. This child, Billy Lymon, an orphan struggling with depression, contemplates suicide until his foster parent reveals the truth about his mother's murder. Billy, grappling with his sexuality, attends church. Ever since finding solace in Christianity, Billy replaced his deep despair with an inexplicable joy and peace, prompting a quest for understanding. Everyone can be used by God, and God’s love is neither judgmental nor partial. The reviewer recommends it to people who are still trying to find their faith in Christ:
I think this book is suitable for Christians. Probably someone could make this as a gift for others who are trying to increase their faith.
