Thanks for the review. It is great when an author does research for their book, and especially great when there are 3 different topics to research! The book seems to have a weird combination of topics as the main theme, but I am glad that you seemed to enjoy it and gave it 4 stars.

A mystery combining medical, legal & religious themes sounds intriguing. MarisaRose's review left me wondering tho. Guess I'll have to take a look...see what I think. Also the theme of people not wanting to recognize the truth is appealing to explore. Thanks for an interesting review!

I am kinda torn between if I will like this book or not, after reading several different reviews. I guess I will have to find out for myself. Thank you for your review!

It seems like the emphasis is pretty heavily focused on relationships. I like that rather than external events, because the complexity of human relationships is something I love exploring.

The story is timely, career, family and religion. Kind of very interesting plot.

It's high time I read and conclude at least a story by this author especially with all these varying reviews flying around. I need to form an opinion of his works as well. This book seems to be rich in depth in matters relating to medicine, relationships and the law, right up my alley! Thanks for the detailed review, CatInTheHat!

I'm not a big fan of this kind of book but I do love scandal involving the religious, legal, and medical fields. I also appreciate that the author clearly did his research. I'm a bit hesitant due to the subject matter but I'll leave it on my "to read" list anyway. Thank you for the insightful review.

Thanks for sharing a real review. I'm glad you really talked about the book and didn't just say Good Book. I'm glad to see there are not many, if any mistakes to distract from the story. I'm excited to read this book. I have not read anything by this author and now I have one of their books. The TV Evangelist angle should be interesting and I was wondering how the medical parts will fit in to the story. Thanks for letting us know that also.
