It seems like the emphasis is pretty heavily focused on relationships. I like that rather than external events, because the complexity of human relationships is something I love exploring.

I'm not a big fan of this kind of book but I do love scandal involving the religious, legal, and medical fields. I also appreciate that the author clearly did his research. I'm a bit hesitant due to the subject matter but I'll leave it on my "to read" list anyway. Thank you for the insightful review.

Thanks for sharing a real review. I'm glad you really talked about the book and didn't just say Good Book. I'm glad to see there are not many, if any mistakes to distract from the story. I'm excited to read this book. I have not read anything by this author and now I have one of their books. The TV Evangelist angle should be interesting and I was wondering how the medical parts will fit in to the story. Thanks for letting us know that also.
