This sounds like really good source of information about what life was like in Colorado during the 1950s.

It’s nice to see someone looking at the history of an area other than the South. Colorado has such beauty that people need to appreciate beyond the ski resorts. It sounds like this book may show off some of the amazing features of that wonderful state.

Sounds like a great story with lots of interesting characters. Sounds like the author has done a nice job of telling a story and weaving in some educational material about Colorado and outdoor adventures. Thanks for the nice review.

The review of Morning is Always Nigh by John Wichersham was very good. I read the prologue and the sample portion and will put it in the books I want to read. I was impressed that the book came out of the author and his daughter having a converstion about legacy, that is leaving memories for future generations to read and be reminded of him. Her suggestion was to think of a very special time in his life that meant alot to him and write a story about that time and events that he remembered. I am anxious to read the rest of the story to find out about the events the reviewer mentioned happened to him and his family.

Your review is very inspiring and descriptive about such beautiful scenery in the Colorado backwoods. And such a great rating given to the author for writing such an interesting novel "Morning Is Always Nigh." Your review has encouraged me to read this book. Great review!

The author's writing style seems to make the entire story come to life around the reader, making you feel like you are right in Colorado with them, fishing and going about day to day life. Great book!

I will love reading this entire book. Just reading the introduction whetted my appetite for more of the adventures inside. It is good to relive our childhood memories over adventure and good family times. Such a good read so far!

Thank you, rs1977. Your review piqued my interest in reading this story since I am an outdoors type of person. I am not able to be outdoors as often as I would like to be, but reading about it sure helps my want to be. I really like the fact that there are colorful pictures to help tell the story. I've never been to Colorado, but have always wanted to go just to see the beauty of the country. I am sure I will enjoy the adventures this family goes through together.

Thank you for your review. I love taking a break from all the fiction and actually learning from it so I am glad you mentioned and I quote that it "serves as an educational source." so I am really excited to give this a read. Also I loved some of the times I have visited Colorado it is a gorgeous state and learning about the region is pretty cool. I am a fiction reader so I do not read much geographical so learning from this is pretty cool.
Thanks again for your review!

As someone who grew up in the Rockies of British Columbia, a book about the adventures in the mountains, outdoors, and surviving its one that is inherently attractive to me. I'm looking forward to checking out this book.

Perfect timing for me. My son is going to Denver for a 10 month volunteer session and this sounds like a great book for him to learn more about the region and activities. This book sounds like a great read for my entire family. I appreciate the review and can't wait to learn more about Colorado.

This sounds like such an amazing coming of age story in the fifties and I love that the background is in Colorado. With the way the scenes are written I feel like I’m actually in Colorado. Great review!

Having grown up in Colorado, I can attest to its beauty. Reading your review has left me excited to read this book, and yet afraid that I will become home sick if it’s as descriptive as you say!
