I will not be picking this up as it doesn't fit the bill for me. Nevertheless, your review was precise and captivating. The authors ability to make the setting so rich is applaudable and it will also be interesting to see how Abi clears her name. Great review.

I love unusual stories! Neil Gaiman is a favorite author of mine. In some ways, your description makes me think of some of his work. It is hard to find a book that keeps me guessing, and I hope this one will be a challenge. I look forward to giving it a read. Thanks for the review!

I'm someone who always sticks to routines so I'm curious to what will happen to Abi. I am also intrigued by the setting of this story. Good job in making a wonderful review!

Surrealist fiction risks losing the reader along the way, yet this particular book is the exception to that proclamation. As Abi navigates through the maze of her accusation and appeal process her discouragement and impediments through these events elicit a likable quality. Through her sympathetic characterization and the absurdity of the situation, the reader is further engaged in the storyline until its conclusion.

This sounds really interesting. Thanks for the enthralling and refreshing review. The story is so unique such that I am still having questions why someone would be prosecuted for not having Terrors.

I like the fact that it's well written, but the genre has me on the fence about it. Cool cover, though. This one I'm going to add to the maybe pile.

The book's front cover looks really interesting and grabbed my attention from the beginning. Judging by the reviews and the author's book describes this book sounds weird in a good way which I very much like. I am very interested and eager to read this book.

This book sounds very interesting and original. Often times I think many stories and books follow the same tones or themes; however, this book sounds like nothing I have ever read, and completely original and unique. I will have to check it out. Thanks for the review.

I think I would be able to fully sympathize and identify with Abi. There is some amount of weird goodness to this book, and I wouldn't mind exploring more of it.

I don't normally read books that are surrealist like this one, but I thoroughly enjoyed the preview. The prose is abrupt yet fluid, perfectly portraying how Abi thinks. At the same time, the story is able to move forward through the very absurd events that she suddenly finds herself facing. I think it is interesting that our protagonist is the most coherent person by our standards, yet everyone else I have encountered seems to be on the same page of absurdity. It reminds me of The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster, an aspect that makes me more likely to read Seven at Two Past Five. Thank you for the review!

Somebody called my name! "absurdist, surrealist, or philosophical novels" are right up my alley. I'm quite intrigued about how things turned out for Abi after a series of unfair situations.

I love your review. A person getting frustrated by the appeals process in an effort to clear her name.
