I won't be reading the book since it's not from my preferred genre, but it does come across as a good book. I'm glad that when Pete runs away he finds Jake who is a good man. It would have been devastating if he had come across some terrible person. I hope the PTSD in the book is properly explored and creates awareness.
Thank you for the review.

I wonder what trauma they experienced. The people around Pete seemed to have turbulent pasts and I'm intrigued about that as well. I look forward to reading this book.

I like that the author is shining light on PTSD as many people think is only connected to the military. It seems like these characters are dealing with a lot of past trauma. Not something I want to read right now. Great job with the review.

"Saving Superman" by Kathleen Sales - The author catches your interest immediately with a story about a young boy, Pete, leaving home and running into a war veteran with PTSD, Jake, who provided a safe haven for a few days. Pete's story is well told and keeps your attention. Good characterization and plot. Thanks for the review.

This is traumatic for Pete and his mother. A little boy treated inhumanely! Very intriguing though...

An intriguing psychological novel "Saving Superman" by Kathleen Sales, which follows a ten-year-old boy, Pete Martin and his mother. Both of them developed post traumatic psychological problems after an unfortunate incident at nightclub in Memphis. This book appears worth reading.

This seems like a really interesting read, but the child mistreatment might be too much for me to read right now. Congrats on BOTD!

The plot of this book sounds unique. I would like to find out more about the story, and the characterisation of a young protagonist in a thriller book.

The psychological mystery fiction based on family matters. Actually I think if I am Pete, I will kill father instead little brother. Anyway I have some psychological problems because parents. If people stayed beside me was making fun of me, but it turn me to the sensitive and silent person. The fiction book showed me how much times I try to kill my father. I will not feel sad for killing my family.

A book providing insights on post traumatic stress disorder seems helpful. Also, the thrilling plot and charcters makes the book more appealing. Great review.
