Zeldas-It definitely has some depressing parts, but I think the message overall is somewhat uplifting.

Great review! Your review intrigues me enough to want to read the book, however the story sounds so dark that I definitley would need to be in a certain frame of mind to read it.

Lisalovecraft-You hit the nail on the head! You definitely have to be in the right headspace to read this book. Otherwise, I think the intense parts will drag you down.
