Thank you for the great review! A book set in Japan will always catch my interest, since I'm trying to learn the language and visiting it one day. It makes me think of the magic realism with the ghost, and its wise and peaceful messages. I really want to read it, thank you for the discovery!

The book "Ghost with Two Hearts" by Michael R. French is a novel that tells the story of Adrain Green, a software engineer who chooses to take a trip to Japan to take a break from the stress and also retrieve the samurai sword that his grandfather took from a Japanese soldier. Good review :tiphat:

Ghost with Two Hearts by Michael R. French is one book I am going to enjoy reading. I loved that it is themed in Japan and has elements of fantasy hence the ghost, Kami, that lives in Adrain Green's rented space. Congratulations on BOTD.

Thank you for your informative review!

Ghost With Two Hearts by Michael R. French is sounds like a captivating blend of the supernatural and the physical. Adrian Green's journey to Japan, aimed at returning a samurai sword, turns into an unexpected encounter with Emiko, a ghost. This story beautifully explores the coexistence of different cultures and the importance of forgiveness. With French’s vivid descriptions, readers will seemingly find themselves immersed in Japanese culture. Despite your reservations about the ending, the book’s creative writing and dynamic characters seem worthy of a 5-star rating.

"Ghost With Two Hearts" sounds amazing, blending a journey of self-discovery with a supernatural realm, and its plot is unique. I would love to know how Adrian managed to have a perfect relationship with the ghost of Emiko. The culture and people of Japan will also be intriguing to learn about. Your review is great.

I really feel what Adrain Green had to go through. I can imagine going to cool off and having to deal with an unprepared adventure. I hope he doesn't lose his mind in the process.

Ghost with Two Hearts by Michael R French sounds an amazing book to read. Often, we need a break from stressful things . The thought of Adrian Green to ho to Japan with a mission of relieving stress and in the process, to return a Japanese sword taken along time by his grandfather was a good idea. His encounter with the ghost of Emiko and interruptions by lonely Lami, a ghost leaving in his rented space reveals the coexistence between the supernatural world and the physical world. I appreciate your honest review and that you a had reservations about the ending of the book. This is a must to read book according to your recommendation.

An American software developer seizes an opening to travel to Japan, a country rich in culture, almost as an escape from the reality of his current situation. The sample pages make it seem like an easy read, which is nice. I'll put this on my list to track Adrian. Congrats to the author on BOTD! Crisp and informative review!

I am not sure based on this review if I would like this book. The parts that do interest me are the co-existence with spirits. I read in the review that someone fell for a ghost and that's adorable, but not something I would pick to read.

"Ghost With Two Hearts" weaves a captivating tale where cultures and realms intertwine. Michael R. French offers an enchanting journey through Japan, mixing the spiritual and the tangible in the life of Adrian, a man seeking solace but finding a ghostly companion instead. The narrative celebrates mutual respect, cultural understanding, and the unforeseen friendships that challenge our views of life and afterlife. Congratulations on being BOTD!
