I would read this book just going by how nice the cover is alone! Yes, this is an in depth look at this man’s divorce story and all that it entails, and proves that divorce is much harder than a wedding. It’s a good book, especially these days when most people have, or knows someone who has divorced.

A wonderful review! I thank you.
I immediately found this captivating as it reminds me of a divorce that occured to someone close in my own family.
I feel as though I am familiar with Paul Peterson in this way and I am keen to discover how he manages going forward. I am rooting for him to come out stronger through all of this.
Congratulations to the author for penning this one!

From what i can understand reading some review this book talks about a man forced to divorce and becoming a single parent. A not easy topic to talk about, but very common nowadays. I'm curious to read this book.

I haven't personally dealt with a divorce —knock on wood—, but it must be really hard, especially when kids are involved. This seems like a poignant personal narrative. Thank you.

This was a touching story about the struggles of divorced dad Paul Peterson as he tries to connect with his son Mickey through a Pinewood Derby project. The characters feel authentic, and author Paul Steven Stone does an excellent job portraying the complex emotions associated with divorce and rebuilding family relationships. I cheered Paul on as he overcame various obstacles to support his son. This would make a perfect gift for any dad or anyone who has endured a painful split.

Thank you for this concise and informative review. This is my kind of other fiction book. It is not too long and it is based on real-life situations. The author's writing flows and keeps the reader engaged. The relationship between a father and his son makes for an interesting story. The title and cover of the book are well-done. :tiphat:

Stone captured the complicated dynamics of divorce with sensitivity and grace. Protagonist Paul is a flawed but well-meaning father who wants to make up for past mistakes and be the dad his son Mickey deserves. Their Pinewood Derby adventure highlights the little moments that make family relationships special. While the ending tied things up neatly, the journey there tackled real emotional turmoil. An uplifting read for fans of family drama.

Nice review! As an adult child of divorce, it's been interesting looking at different analyses of divorce and all its effects. With that said, this is a unique setup for a divorce story, but definitely one that can shed some light on what such circumstances expose about the people affected by them.
