Brilliant author. Always get her books when they come out.

Same here. I actually had the good fortune of meeting her briefly at a book signing back in High School; I went with my school's book club to hear her speak about her newest book at the time. we even got a picture with her. she was really nice :)

Jodi Picoult is, by far, one of my favorite authors. She's an incredible writer, who makes you feel deep in your heart, with every book she writes. I love reading her books, as they are all pertinent to real life problems, that she puts a spin on. My favorite book is Handle with Care, even though it breaks my heart every time I read it. I also love House Rules and Nineteen Minutes.

My favorite books that I have read by Jodi Picoult were My Sister's Keeper, Nineteen Minutes, and The Pact. Each one of those stories is so different and her writing style is original and effective. I love it. But the most recent two works of hers I have read have been Change of Heart and Keeping Faith, and those two just didn't quite live up to my expectations. They were still good reads and Picoult is still one of my favorite authors, but those books didn't seem to have the same depth as the first three I listed.
