I enjoy reading crime thrillers with suspenseful and mysterious plots concerning who committed the crime, which the investigation in this book shows promise of providing. Thank you for your review.

I just joined and this is my first book. The moment I read the synopsis, it drew my attention. I have lived very close to Buffalo, NY for quite some time, so that makes me more excited. Really looking forward to reading it!

"A Kind of Hush" is a gripping and thought-provoking novel that explores the complexities of human nature, morality, and the blurred lines between right and wrong. A tragic event sets off a chain of revelations, leaving survivors to navigate a web of ambiguity and uncertainty.

This is an interesting approach to a crime novel, not only focusing on the whodunnit but on the effect the crime has on the people around it. I also love that the title reminds me of one of my favorite songs. Thank you for your review.

It sounds like this book can be emotionally challenging, with two major tragedies striking the family and serious repercussions after the second one. I like crime and suspense with twists in the tale, but this book contains too much tragedy as well. I'm glad to see there is a happy ending.

"A Kind of Hush" by JoDee Neathery, a book that features family, struggles, and grieving. A book that shows the struggles a family faces. It will be great to read about how the marriage in the story survived through the various challenges.

Great review! You gave a lot of detail as to what the storyline was about. It sounds like a great mystery story but paved with a lot of tragedy.

I love crime and suspense, so I'm sure I'll enjoy A Kind of Hush by JoDee Neathery. I wonder who's responsible for the devastating disaster of Summer's family. Maybe it has something to do with her previous marriage with Anderson?

Family drama mixed with crime and suspense sounds like a thrilling novel. I truly enjoy these types of books, however, I'm not sure how I feel about the storyline intentionally being heavy handed in one direction. It gives a sense of one-sidedness I don't like but I'm still willing to check this book out.

This sounds really exhilarating, and I am glad that the author takes the reader through a suspenseful journey packed with twists and turns, especially when one is trying to guess who the killer is. I am glad that the book also comprises lots of encouragement.
Many thanks for the amazing review!

"A Kind of Hush by JoDee Neathery is a realistic fiction of crime and suspense featuring the saga of a family grappling with the complexity of moving forward after a series of brutal events."

This book is an emotional read. I feel the pains of Matthew. I wonder what made you recommend it to lovers of happy-ending stories after all the tragedies. Congratulations to the author on BOTD. Compelling review.

A thrilling story of a family that started off on a high note only to face the worst part of their marriage that changed their whole life. Am eager to follow up and see how this story ended. How I wish Matthew finally recovered from memory loss and was able to give an account to the dectives. A nice story to follow up on.
