This fictional account of a set of interviews between Barbara Streisand and her psychoanalyst are interesting. At first I could not imagine Barbara with the voice the author had given her. As I went further I put that behind and just got into the story. It is interesting, sad and inspirational at the same time. Despite her childhood and lack of motherly love, she has become an accomplished singer, director and movie star.

I enjoyed the in-depth review of this book, especially with the challenge of having to read a copy that was not well edited.

For most people in the spotlight, their real lives a mystery. I would have never known this aspect of Barbara Streisand's life if not for this book. Given my own interest in Counselling psychology, I am intrigued to find her journey with Dr. Dale. This is a good review.

This is a nice review of this book. gives me an insight of the life of Barbra. i love the woman and i want to read this book.

I think I learned three or four things about Barbra Streisand that I didn't know from your review. I found this book under the "Other Fiction" category, so I'm not sure what to think. I'll give it a look though. Thank you!
