I actually really liked Pomeroy! I'm not sure why, since he caused trouble and was so full of himself, but he was really funny!

This review is inviting anyone that would be tempted to say that he/she does not have enough time to read, to go out and literally 'find time' to read this satirical novel. The escapades of Pomeroy are too juicy and interesting to afford to miss them.

A humorous story that contains a different take on the “new world” philosophy sounds intriguing. Pomeroy has a "crude sense of humor and impressive intellect"? He sounds quite the character. That the book is well edited and has a strong ending is another plus. Not sure it is for me, but I will check it out. Thank you for the review!

Great review! I enjoy a good laugh and this book sounds like it will do just that. I don't mind crude language and situations when it adds to the laugh out loud factor. This is definitely going on my TBR list. Thanks so much for sharing.

Hmmm, I think it won't hurt for me to try this one out. From your review, I know there's a chance that I won't like Pomeroy or maybe I will. I'll definitely check this one out though. Thanks for the great review.

I couldn’t help but think Pomeroy was delusional, at best,

LOL I LOVE crazy, delusional characters!(NOT in real life, mind you... only in fictional books, please! LOL) Keeps the writing interesting while possibly sending a message that may not be listened to otherwise!

A tragic comedy, I would say of just the man Pomeroy himself. Landing in prison more than once is not a very pleasant record for a man especially with some talents. I probably would not enjoy some laughs at what this character does, but smile perhaps in amusement at what he's gotten himself into, and live. Nice review.

I would most likely enjoy this book. I like books with good humor. Plus, Edward a.k.a. Pomeroy seems like a likable character. Thank you for your review!
