I love Anne Shirley! But I do have mixed feeling about a religious satire book. I'm not sure if I would be amused or offended. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this one!

The title grabs one's attention. Your review and analysis of this book are equally fascinating, especially the part about the devil and his angel sneaking up on Bridget. The book seems to have dealt with many unanswered questions on the issues of life and gender, etc.

I am unmarried but curious about what the book has in store. I am Catholic but like Dan Brown. I don't need to agree with him, though.

I wonder why the book isn't classified as YA. Do you think it is appropriate for that audience?

A coming-of-age tale revolving around the life of a young Catholic girl sounds intriguing. It is good that not only the book is amusing, it also deals with serious issues. Bridget does sound like an admirable character. I love Anne Shirle, and if Bridget is anything likes her, hooray to the author! Not really my cup of tea, but I am glad you enjoyed the book. I wonder how according to christianity they perform exorcism to send away the devil. I know that they use holy salt to ward evil away. Must check this book out freely. Thank you for your review.

This sounds like a wonderful read. I think, as a Catholic raised kid, I can definitely find the humor in the story. However, it sounds like the author does a great job of making the book appealing to anyone. Very insightful and good review, thank you!

This is a great review and makes me want to read the book. Having been schooled by nuns, I think I’ll be able to relate to this story on a common ground. I love how you recommend it to adults-especially married women; makes me want to read it even more!

Bridget sounds like a very entertaining and interesting person. If she is indeed as outspoken and independent as Anne Shirley, then this will be a great read! I enjoyed your review and feel you presented the book very well. You definitely made me want to read this one. Excellent job!

Thanks for your review. I agree it is difficult to walk a fine line between satire and offense, particularly when it comes to religion. I have to disagree with the editor's comment that all errors have been corrected, though, since the kindle edition I just downloaded contains an error within the first couple of pages. Hopefully it is the only one.
