What I take away from the review is the unique characters and how they are developed in this entertaining story. It's been written in such a way that engages and amuses.

I like the unique plot of James Hanna's "Lights Out, Lizzie." Christian wrestling coupled with a group of former inmates is rare, and I like its approach in this book. Congratulations on being the book of the day.

Congrats on BOTD!
James Hanna's "Lights Out Lizzie" is a humorous conflagration of Christian grappling, jail friends, and ridiculous experiences. Gertie's crazy journey from chicken coops to Afghanistan is charmingly chaotic. On every single page, imagine surprises, sarcasm, and wit.

I've never heard of the concept of a Christian wrestling group before. It sounds like a professional yet outlandish way to combat sin. And everyone likes a sassy, headstrong protagonist! This book deserves its BotD award!

James Hanna's "Lights Out Lizzie" employs humour and quirky plot-line to create a thoroughly engaging book. Gertie's character is unique, eccentric, sassy and hilarious. Her unconventional life is a lesson to appreciate oneself and remain positive despite life's challenges/experiences.

Learning about Women's Christian Wrestling is new to me, and it caught my attention. I am curious to find out what ulterior motive Sue had in Lights Out Lizzie by James Hanna.

Certainly an unconventional storyline-joining a Christian women's wrestling team to gain direction and absolve her of her sins-ludicrous and entertaining plot. Seems like an interesting read. Thank you for your wonderful review!

This review highlights the outrageous charm and humor of Lights Out Lizzie, praising its eccentric characters and wild plot. The reviewer clearly enjoyed the quirky storytelling, especially the Christian wrestling troupe concept. Their appreciation for the main character’s naïve sass and the book’s originality makes this a glowing and enthusiastic endorsement.

Lights Out Lizzie" by James Hanna, a book that features Gertie , incarceration, and her friend. It will be interesting to read about the details the story contains such as signing a wrestling contract. This is a book to be read.

Indeed, this is taking the battle of good versus evil to a comical level. I cannot wait to read and find out what the wrestling entails and how Gertie survived, especially given the statement in the review that there could have been something else. It is also good to read that the characters are unique.
Thanks for this informative review, @Caroline Anne Richmond.
