While this book sounds like it would be a wonderful read for some people, it does not really appeal to me. Honestly topics such as trout varieties, flora, fauna and insects remind me of biology class which puts me off. Nevertheless, thank you for the wonderful review.

Danny Gray and his siblings' adventures in the beautiful Colorado mountains do sound interesting. You also mentioned that it is an educational book, as it contains pictures of fish, plants, wildflowers, and insects. I like Colorado and outdoor adventures, so I will take a look at this book.

It seemed like a cool and light novel, a break from the suspense, drama or thriller books that require analysis or much contemplation or analysis afterwards. Happy reading to fans of the adventure genre.

This book just calls to all the adventurous souls out there. It seems the book takes the reader on a tour in 1950's Colorado.

Thank you for the great review.

It's a shame that the cover doesn't properly convey the greatness inside. This sounds like a fun adventure, as well as easy way to learn a little about Colorado. Thanks for the thorough review.

I'm happy to see that there are books like that. It's not my genre but I can see myself reading it to my students. It looks very educational in many ways. Thank you for the review.

Rich vocabulary in the authors writing and his ability to write a narration that would let the reader feel as if they are in the midst of Danny's family is quite captivating. But why would the book contain empty pages with no given explanation?! I would love to read the book though because it falls on one of my favourite genres, Historical fiction and enjoy the educative features in it. Great review.

Excellent review. The stories in this book remind me of listening to my own grandpa's stories. The stories are so vivid and well told, I felt like I was there experiencing it all with him.
