I like that this book handles such a serious topic (illness and dying) in such a lighthearted manner and that the four main characters are women who actually talk about something other than men. A lot can happen in a year, especially when you set out to make the most of it with your friends, so I can just imagine the kinds of things that go on in this book. Thank you for the helpful review.

Based on the review of the book this is not something that I would enjoy reading. I dislike reading content with serious issues such as terminal illness, suicide, and abuse. The story also doesn’t interest me in. I will pass on reading this book.

This sounds like a lovely and realistic storyline. I love how all these characters develop throughout the course of the book. It feels like a refreshing read. Thank you for the detailed review.

This is a book about how well human beings can treat each other when they come together. The women have different issues but they are vulnerable and comfortable around one another. Congrats to the book of the day.

This sounds like an amazing book. I think that it would be an interesting read for ladies, particularly those who cherish close-knit association with other ladies. Nonetheless, thank you for the beautiful review.

I’m currently reading it and I’m having a hard time putting it down. I’m enjoying watching the characters really emerge with each chapter.

I really did enjoy reading this book. I thought it was such a sweet story about a group of friends. I enjoyed how we got to read about the characters initial bonding and creating their friendship. By the end I really felt like I knew the main girls. It didn’t have any chapters that were boring or uneventful. I think the author did a great job in describing things in detail, to help really imagine every situation. I feel it moved a little too slow when it came to bringing new characters in. It might have benefited to have the girls all meet earlier in the book. I also felt Dee and her wife were unnecessary. Other than that it was a great feel good story. :D :techie-studyinggray:
