I love how determined the author is to not let obstacles get in the way of her achievements. Although, I would have loved to read book one before this one. However, I don't really like boxing so I don't believe I would enjoy the book much. Thank you for this great review by the way.

For a second book in a series, this book may get confusing if there's no description for some characters from the first book. I like books with strong female protagonists. This is great for sports-minded readers. Congratulations on the BOTD.

While I am not the biggest fan of sports books or boxing as a sport, this book seems to have a great storyline. Congratulations on book of the day!

Thank you for your well-informed review. While it's nice to read about strong women, I really need a story that I would enjoy. I don't believe I would want to read a story about women boxing as I'm not that into sports any more. It's a shame that there were so many spelling errors and a background of the first book wasn't included.

Awesome review! Thank you! I've added this to my WTR list!

Today's BOTD is Book 2 in the Proud to be Me Rosalinda series about a strong and determined female pro boxer from Mexico, whose fame has spread to the US. Readers of sports fiction and romance will find themselves in Rosalinda's corner from the first page to the last, as she deals with matter of the heart both in and out of the ring. Thank you again!! :-)

Boxing as a sport has always intrigued me, so this book does have a certain appeal. It is nice, too, that the author has chosen to develop this character so roundly, giving the reader a personal view of her journey. An interesting read which I may be tempted to try. Thanks for the review!

This sounds like an interesting story. I like that the book is centered around a successful female boxer which is kind of rear. I'll really like to follow through her journey to find out what made her strong in this story. Great review, thanks.

When sparring in the military, I learned if you think you are going to lose then you will lose. If you clear your mind and become determined to focus on every opportunity, you will be unstoppable. Rose has that mindset and makes for a good heroine in the #BOTD. Great review!

I'm stuck with part 2 while haven't been reading the first part, Rose is a very determined person and she's really a strong woman. I like the review on this storyline. Thank you.

This is a very interesting novel. I’m looking forward to digging into this book to know Rosalinda and her actions and behavior at the challenges thrown at her, not only as a boxer but also at her different roles in her community.

I am not a sports fan, and the prospect of reading detailed descriptions of boxing matches is off-putting. I don't think this one is for me. Thanks for the review!
