This book shares up-close and personal encounter of the horrors of the Vietnam War. Soldiers and survivors of war have to live with scarred bodies, scarred minds or both. If we should ever be reminded to seek peace, this book reminds us why. Genre fans should have a read. Thank you for a well-written review.

I like stories set in countries I don't know about, and the Vietnam war is intriguing to me. However, the slow pace may discourage me from reading this book. I'm not sure if I can handle another gory details in a book. Congratulations on the BOTD.

I always admired soldiers who fight for what is right. But in my country, police and some soldiers think that they are some kind of god who always want glorification. So my POV of them is pretty messed up. That's why I'm really happy to see this kind of story. I honestly wanted to change my POV about them. I hope this but book helps. Thanks

I'm keen on reading this book because I haven't read or come across stories based on the Vietnam war. I hope later editions will be better edited and error free. Congratulations on making book of the day!

The title caught my attention but after knowing it's a war-related story, I skiped it! I hope others will like it.

In this book the author manages to give a clear picture not only of the vagaries of war but also its effects on combatants. Those lucky to survive come out permanently scathed physically, mentally or psychologically.
Thanks for the great review.

Often times people think about the dark side of war as the life in war fields. But the life of a surviving soldier itself is a silent war with trauma. I really hope the book inspires everyone to choose peace. Congrats on BOTD!!

Though I'm not a big fan of books with the concept of war, I still want to congratulate the author for winning the BOTD! The book cover is nice though, I liked how it portrays the plot of the book.

I'm not into war stories even though they inspire us to choose peace over war. I'm sure many readers will appreciate this book and find it very interesting.

The REMF: Hurry Up and Wait by Ray Dyer sounds a wonderful. It incorporates the horrors of Vietnam war. And shows us how the soldiers deal with pain long after the way is finished. They deal with it differently, some with substance abuse, some die, some can't deal with the death of a fellow. It's horrific.

I find it commendable that the author brings to life the routine parts of being in the army without losing out on the intensity soldiers experience while in the line of war. Kudos!

The Vietnam war is not really familiar to me. This book seems to delve into it and the effect it had on soldiers. I will definitely look it up and thank you for the review.

There is always an air of uncertainty looming in the life of a soldier. They never know if they'll make it out alive the next time they go on a mission. Stories on war and peace are inspiring. Thanks for the detailed review.
