Wonderful review! I love the idea of this book. It's always refreshing to read a book about war time that highlights the humanity on both sides.

Border Post 99 by Kedar Patankar is a nice heartwarming war-story about a Pakistan military official touching on humility and honor. A great Perfect 4 out of 4 stars.

:ugeek2: I found your review very detailed but not a spoiler. I like how you describe each character and crave for more about the characters and to the whole story. And a great response to the story. :)

:) The book brought out the aspect of humanity which made it more intresting. When Sharma and Khan both live in a world of isolation and lonileness in the middle of forest without the knowledge of one another is around, life is boring. But immediately Khan finds Sharma, they interact and freely makes way out that isolated world.

Oh! again on borders but this time trying to be human with each other. Good story about handling pressure at border away from loved ones. Finally, we are humans and understand each other's emotions well. :)

I agree with you in that the characters were a foil for each other in terms of experience. Feel free to check out my review. I rated it 4 out of 4 stars.
