Billy struggles to accept the truth that his mother was murdered because the murderer felt she couldn’t take care of him. He struggles with his sexuality. He finds peace in Jesus Christ. The story flows smoothly and is engaging for the reader. Wonderful review!

I appreciate how the review highlights the complexity and depth of Billy Lymon's journey. The intersection of homosexuality and Christianity is indeed a controversial topic, and it's commendable that the author addresses it thoughtfully. The detailed character backgrounds, while potentially making the book lengthy, seem to add to the richness of the narrative. This review makes it clear that the book offers a powerful message about finding peace and joy in faith, despite life's struggles. The focus on God's non-judgmental love is especially poignant. Thank you for such an insightful review!

Speaking also as a witness who has accepted Jesus, I can relate to the peace Billy felt after accepting Jesus into his life. Nice review!

I wonder why the elder woman had to kill her daughter instead of surrendering her to foster care. Thanks for the review.

This review makes "Hanging Out with the Most High God Books One and Two" sound deeply compelling. The journey of Billy Lymon, from despair to finding peace in Christianity, is very intriguing. I’m interested in how the author tackles such complex themes.

I think I like how this book sounds like a sincere testimony of someone who walked the walk. Talking about Christianity can make some people launch an attack on whoever is talking about it. But I think the author has been able to explain vividly to any kind of reader, including the easily triggered ones.

Billy Lymon, a young, depressed orphan, finds joy and a sense of peace after accepting Christ into his life, but people questioned his homosexuality, and it led to him questioning God about why He made him and others like him that way. To his surprise, God answered, and because there was a lot for Billy to learn, it was the beginning of Billy's "Hanging Out with the Most High God." Congrats on BOTD!
