I was actually pleasantly surprised in the way this book kept me going. Thriving for the next page of excitement of the " what's next"
It was written as though you are the one going through each step of the journey also.

Great review. I'm not really into books for the places they describe, but rather for the story ideas presented. I'm not sure I'll enjoy the travel-type plot. However, a group of men equals teases and humorous remarks as well as insightful opinion which I'm always up for. Thus, I would like to sample the story for this reason, see how I like it. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the book.

Whoa, the title made me think of space exploration, but this review shows you have stumbled upon a much more unique story. A bunch of friends getting together to have grand adventures sounds great. The story makes me think of the Bucket List, but with the potential of twice the fun!

The first chapter of Man Mission is engaging to the point that I feel like I know Sam and the friends from just that short excerpt. It is slightly predictable - I knew Sam was going to drag him away from that dull and boring job. However, I didn't expect the injured knee. From that point on, I felt like it might be a little unrealistic. I've had injured knees off and on since I was 17 and I KNOW what that feels like. I also know that right after an injury, I couldn't even walk to the bathroom, much less 40 miles! But, the two are fun and I did remember that he was young and the young can bear anything to do something this important. I didn't expect the cows - they were a fun surprise. I enjoyed the chapter and think the book will be entertaining. There is one grammatical error when he says, "It fast became clear to both of us..." It should be quickly. All in all, a good beginning to a good story.

Man Mission by Eytan Uliel is enticingly presented in this review.
There is more than one reason to read the book: adventures in all the good adventure places in the world, an interesting bond of four friends, humor and good dialogues. I will definitely read it.

This book seems to be a joy ride filled with adventure, fun and emotions. The storyline made me relate to a bollywood movie "Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara" where three friends after reaching a point in their lives decide to go on a trip to three different places which gives them insight. I am excited to read this book. Good review. Congrats on BOTD!

Definitely sounds full of adventure. I think about have girl missions sometimes.. a new place every year. My husband and I love traveling. Although when traveling you are on the go depending on where you go, it's still rejuvenating. Although interesting, not my type of book. Congratulations on BOTD.

This book was so good! I loved how regular and human the characters were. It was a beautifully real story that inspired in a crazy way, man-adventure kind of way!

Thank you for your review. Man Mission sounds interesting for lovers of travel and adventure reading. The sample on Amazon had me hooked with driving with drugs and thinking he was going to die. (Great opening!) But then, getting into the novel and talking about epic travel adventures centered around foods in the regions before the adventure began, reminded me of Anthony Bourdain. Your review of the entire book piqued my interest again. Even though I am interested, I don't think I will become invested enough to read Man Mission. I hope others that do read it will enjoy it as much as you have. :D :D :D

I really enjoyed reading this review, it makes me want to check out the book to at least find out what these Man Mission rules are. I wonder if it's something I can apply to my own life and have amazing travel with my friends. Really interested in reading this book now, would not have even thought to pick it up otherwise.

Aww, this sounds like a very brave, adventurous book. It's nice to read people challenging themselves to do the things they always wanted to but never thought they actually would, which is what this sounds like it's doing. I also think reading this would make me want to see a little more of the world, too! Thanks for your review!

It's great this book was successful on both literary and technical fronts. It would not be my genre at all but sounds like it would appeal to men and young men.
