I love reading historical fictions and this book happens to be right up my alley. I am sure I would enjoy reading Matt's personal journey if self-discovery. Thanks for the review!!

This seems to be an engaging tale with a mix of diverse themes. I like that the book captures the self-development journey of the main character. Thank you for the review.

Good review. The Cuban history, from their fight for independence to living under Fidel Castro caught my attention. It will be interesting to read about this.

If there was a queue of people lile Matt fed up with their jobs it would probably straddle the equator. So I thought this might be an uninspiring book. But in the first couple of chapters alone I can see much of what's in your review. It's worth the read after all.

I like the book but only it creates questioning environment , for example in chapter one he talked about the curfew yet he didn't show the cause . But all in all it is an educative book which shows that life consists of hills and valleys.

I love historical fiction, although this era might be a little too recent for my tastes. I’m not too fond of books that make you think that you will get one kind of book when you end up with something different, either. Still, the character development and relationships sound promising and the concept is unique and intriguing, so that might be enough for me to still be interested in the book. Thank you for the helpful review.

As I read a few pages of the book, before coming here to check out your review, I was a bit interested to see where the story was going. So now that I’ve read your very informative and well-written review, I will be sure to finish this story. It does seem to be a good read. Thank you for a great review.

I really enjoy reading historical fiction, so I think this would be a good fit for me, especially as I can relate to Matt's constant inability to "seize moments to achieve his heart desires." I'd love to see how this problem is combated. Thanks for the revealing review.

This sounds like an interesting historical fiction set in the 1990s USA, with the story of a pilot who comes across the incident of bullet-smuggling on his flight. Also, I guess the mention of Fidel Castro and Cuba would be an interesting part of this read. Thank you for the review!
