Abi's story is really weird...sleeping in a bunk-bed-coffin and having terrors every night are the two aspects that struck me. This doesn't sound like a book for me. I am sure lovers of this genre will be in for an enjoyable ride.

The concept is interesting. Abi's world must be really boring if one "change" gets you accused of being a “Disturbance Potential.” I wonder if it was explained in the book why the change happened in the first place. Guess I have to find it out for myself. Thank you for your review!

Based on your review, I think that this book is genuinely unlike any other I've read before, at least in terms of the world that is built. It does sound along the same lines, in regards to its approach of a topic and its effect, to the works of Kafka and Jorge Luis Borges. I'm not a big Kafka fan but I am fond of Borges, so this book might be worth the read for me. Thank you for the very helpful review.

Sounds like a gripping novel! I'm interested though in the author's writing style. However, you mentioned being swept to different places while reading, and I am concerned if it will be a bit too vague or the plot would be too long-winded. I hope it isn't.
