The book does have a dramatic storyline but it seems entangled with suspense and realistic issues. I like that the characters here are realistically portrayed. The book will definitely suit only a mature audience. Thank you for the review.

A character-driven book about choices, secrets, and professional integrity of a newly elect president of Ryson-Scott University who's had a good professional career but not so good marriage. I'd like to know if eventually she was able to manage her career and marriage. Thanks for the review.

This is an interesting storyline along the lives of professionals. I may read this for a change, having been so deep in fantasy stories most of the time.

An intriguing read with interesting, well-developed characters! Unfortunately, I don't enjoy reading dramatic character-driven stories. Plus, as it contains violence and explicit sex, I will pass on this one. However, I read the sample and liked the author's writing style! Plus, it is well edited. I am glad you enjoyed it and thank you for the detailed review!

Thank you for the fantastic review. From the above and the sample pages, I can surmise that this is a book that will definitely appeal to me as it ticks all the right boxes for me. Congratulations on BOTD! This one is certainly going on my "to read" list.

I am a reader, not because I don't have a life, but because I choose to have many.

Great review. The theme of the book comes out clearly balancing between proffesion and marriage. CJ's challenges are relatable to many career women. Her heart gets broken leading to an emotional decision that takes her down a dark path. It's sounds like agood read for adults.
