Thanks for a great review, I really enjoyed reading it. This book is very relatable in our present lives. The themes and topics is covers are very deep and many times emotional.

Sounds interesting. A coming of age story with great character developments seems great. Thanks for recommending this book!

Official Review: Beneath the Surface by Andrew Teague McCollister gives a clear picture of the story of the book in my mind! It was great to learn that the book gives the readers an insight into author's writing and how it developed over years! I like the reviewer's reaction to the book! Also, the negative points of the stories have been fully emphasized in the review!

I am always excited to see more LGBT stories available! I can't wait to read a sample to see how the story goes. Great review!

It is praiseworthy on the part of the author to bring these kind of topics to discuss in the open, though still people are reluctant to discuss their inner feelings. The review is also very well written. :tiphat:

The sample was very limited and didn't really give good insight into the topics or writer's style. So, I appreciate the review. It gives a thorough description of what to expect from this book. I understand the struggles of the homosexual person. And, I am sure it would be of interest to anyone who has ever struggled with their sexual identity. However, I am not interested in reading about the sexual life of a gay person. So, I am going to pass on this one. Thanks for the review.

I dont think this one is for me, but it does sound well written. I can relate to having a parent with cancer..so him fighting with feeling guilt will definitely be emotional for sure. Congratulations on BOTD.

This LGBT-themed novel is not my first genre of choice. I'm not very keen on reading books that deal with male sexualities, especially the transitional process from a male to female. I'll pass. Thanks for the review.

Going by the review, the book gives off an intense, poignant vibe that still manages to entice one into reading more and more of it. Undeniably intriguing. Thanks for your exceptional review.

Haven't seen too many books like this one, quite interesting! When I first saw there were a lot about parents I got a bit worried for a second there. However, seems like a positive end! :)
