Incredible that a costume has generated so many conflicts. Intolerance and the belief that everything is offensive is a very present problem in our current society. The cover seems opaque, but I would still like to read it. Thanks for the review.

After reading the title I thought that the book would be about children, but after reading the review of this book, I understand that the title may actually be ironical, to make the book seem light-hearted. It seems like it would be an interesting read. Congratulations on the BOTD.

I love satire and can see why this book will succeed in spreading awareness about various socio-political issues in a way that will be accessible to many people without being preachy.

The title of this book caught my attention. I got curious as to what the book is about. However, after reading the available sample pages of the book, it did not captivate me. Nonetheless, congratulations on being the book of the day!

The author did really great with the issues explored in this book, from the events surrounding Troy and Ian to critical commentary on such issues as racial stereotyping and its implications. The effort put into editing the book is worth commending, given that the few grammatical errors are almost negligible.

Well, this book sure is the definition of "don't judge a book by its cover". At first I thought it won't be all that, but it turned out to be a captivating read.

I like to read books that are based on college students. I would want to know what led to Troy and Ian finding themselves amid protesters. Nice review!

As good and educative as this book is, I get bored when reading books that actually address some issues addressed in this book. But whosoever may like to read this book can find it interesting. I love the review. Congratulations on BOTD

It seems the title of this book does not rhyme to the content of the book. I'd like to read how a Halloween costume caused so much problems for the young students.

Exploring and understanding the back story of characters are always worth in a story such as this one. This book seems to explore some real issues through the story. However this would be a little too slow for me at the moment. Congrats on BOTD!

The OBC review was a very insightful review. I liked that the book is not just full of satire but also discuss topics that are prevalent in the society.

My favorite part of Whole Lot of Hullabaloo is the artistic use of humour to expose some controversial and sensitive issues in society, such as racial stereotyping. I believe this and other aspects of the book should provide the reader with a satisfying reading experience. Congrats on botd!

To some extent, the book is very good but I was bored reading chapter 1. It doesn't have that interesting part that would convince a person to continue reading.
Its very slow to the extent that you would sleep forgetting that you are reading.
But I liked how it reminded me of my school days ( boarding school) and someone would disturb you while studying
