A man finds enlightenment after encountering a magic bed and he opens a church and starts wearing transgender clothing? I can't deny the creativity and uniqueness of this story, but this isn't my cup of tea. I'll pass on this one.

The reviewer points out the authenticity and uniqueness of the story line which gives the book a plus especially because it is a work of fiction. John's transformation to being Pastor John is quite puzzling. I wonder what happens to the girl he loved and the rest of the people he knew before his transformation.

I read the first chapter and I agree it’s an easy read. I like how your review mentions it’s thought provoking and realities appear ambiguous. Sounds very interesting! Looking forward to reading this book!

This book seems like a thought-provoking one, and I don't think I've come across any book that has a similar storyline. Nice review!

I like that readers have been given free will to make judgement of John's actions. It gives a rather exciting experience. I also think this is an absurd fiction story.

Books dealing with spiritual experiences aren't my cup of tea, yet the plot sounds so intriguing that I want to read this one. Thanks for the awesome review!

I feel like this book has a heavier message than what comes out.

Great job on the review. From your overview of the book, it seems like this would be an absorbing read. John comes off interesting...certainly, a character to remember. I look forward to reading it one day.

This sounds like an interesting read for the open-minded reader. It seems that it would be exceptionally thought-provoking. I have often marveled at how one person might see one meaning in an event, and another might see a completely different meaning. This speaks to the question of whether events have certain meanings, or whether we give them meaning. Thanks for the great review!

It sounds to be a good book. The part which has left lots of questions in my mind is the after effects of sleeping on the magic bed.Now that's what makes it much more interesting. I hope to find the book as interesting as the reviewer did.
Thanks to both the author and the reviewer.

Absurdist is not my genre. But the book has a good premise for those who are interested in the genre. This book seems well written and fast paced. Congrats on BOTD!!

Thank you for sharing your review with us. The sample pages were excellent and by far the most interesting I have read in a while. I am happily adding this book to my reading list.
