This definitely sounds like a controversial yet realistic and heartfelt story. I’m not so sure about the more open-ended aspects, but it seems engaging overall, a good look at a diverse section of the American population and their interconnected but very different lives—and, of course, it all comes back to this poor baby left in the bathroom of the diner. I like the narrative approach used in the book. It presents the same topic from different perspectives. I am curious about the views of the people touched by little Brianna when she came into their lives.
