I have a love/hate relationship with poetry, and I can’t always explain why I like some and don’t like others. It’s interesting that the writer would choose to address this difficulty in judging poetry directly in his preface. I’m also intrigued by the topics his poems are about, especially with how controversial they could potentially be. Such topics usually render more compelling poetry, in my opinion. Thank you for the helpful review.

The more places you'll go.
