Strange book premise. Odd story. Interesting, but odd. Congrats on BOTD. Story sounds weirdly appealing. Would like to find out what's going on in story. It is so odd.

I like books that make you want to re-read it even after just finishing it. And this seems like one of those. It has an interesting concept as well.

A quest to discover true name and her lost faith is what the book is all about. I am intrigued by the plot and the cover is just too mystic. I cannot wait to dive into this conglomeration of humor and suspense. Thank you so much for your review.

Absurd rules and false accusations sound like modern government to me! Your review has definitely piqued my interest, although this type of book is not usually my favorite. Maybe I'll set my buttons aside and take a peek. Thanks!

The sample definitely showed a dystopian feel and had me wanting more. The more I read, the more questions I had. This is a book I want to read more of. The snippet I read was very well written.

Thank you for your review. This is definitely a unique novel. I remember I read a sample copy previously. It sounded familiar to me today and I started reading until I got to the chamber pot, then I really remembered it. (Something about not knowing if it is your chamber pot that disturbs me, even if it is cleaned.😰) Although I have not read the entire book, the sample I have read stuck with me. I thought the novel was written-written and one I would enjoy and I enjoyed your review as well. :D 😃😃

I love that the story keeps the reader in suspense the entire time, and some act truly going on behind the strange world until the very end. Nice review!

I am so intrigued! :) This book seems to be a very unique and engaging read not only to the fans of the genre because it also has a suspense element. I would love to give it a try. Dark surrealistic worlds have always attracted me :) Thank you for a great review!

I would read the story of Abi because of the comical angle to it. It may be a lesson on not taking things too seriously. Thanks for the review.

As I read the sample on Amazon, I was torn between, on one hand, mild annoyance at apparent incongruities (why does the main character effortlessly use metaphorical terms such as "glacially" and "my whole universe", but not understand the term "babysitter"?), and on the other hand, strong curiosity about where the story was heading! I was sorry when the sample ended. I'm glad to see from your review that the novel was a rewarding read.
