Elise's powers to control other people's minds make for an interesting premise, but her selfish actions soon become creepy and frightening. I won't be reading this book mainly because the story gave me an unsettling feeling of fear and I couldn't empathize with the protagonist. Thanks for an interestign review, though.

I understand this should be quite an intriguing read with mentions of psychic powers like getting into other's mind, and travel to places like the Tibet, Egypt, etc. Thank you for an excellent review Ruba!

Psychological thrillers have a notion of making really simple things to sound complicated. Anyway, I don't believe in past lives so I don't think I will read this one. It's free on Amazon Kindle so grab a copy today. Thanks for the great review.

It sounds an intriguing psychological thriller. Elise psychic powers give her strong edge over people to control them according to her.Great review.

Psychic powers and delving into past lives sound quite interesting to me. I think that this would be a lot different from what I usually like.

A travel between past lives seems interesting. A well written book with different tales that stands on their own is a plus. Congrats for making BOTD.

Hm the story of a girl who has psychic powers, which enable her to reveal people's inner thoughts, and manipulate them as she deems sounds quite interesting. I might as well give this book a try. Thanks for a nice review.

There are several genres in All in the Head by Jean Francois Rogeon: fantasy, adventure, paranormal tales, and psychological thriller with focus on past life regression and psychic powers. Elise is that dynamic character who swings between good and evil. Reviewer Ruba Abu Ali points out that what drives Elise,
a young woman with psychic powers of controlling other people's minds, is to determine to what extent can she control, in her travels and adventures through the dimensions of time, space and her mind. There are many books about heroic quests. Elise appears to be embarking on an existential quest on who she really is and how big her power is. The first chapter succeeds in immediately setting the tone, focus and pace of the story. It pulls you in as expected. Thanks to Mr. Rogean for sharing this intriguing and well-written fiction.

I am intrigued by your conflicted reactions to Elise and Sam in this book. I am wondering whether it is caused by a superficial treatment by the author in the case of Sam and inconsistent characterization in depicting Elise. In any event, I love reading about experiences in foreign countries. I look forward to diving into this book, and hope it is as "exquisitely written, clear and engaging" as you state.

I love books about reincarnation and psychics and find complicated protagonists refreshing. This book sounds like an interesting mix of the paranormal, the realistic, and the literary. I don't know if I have the time for it right now, but I'll keep it on my "to read" list. Thank you for the helpful review.

I like the provocative nature of the book. Making you question what you think you know about the human mind. Great review.

Thank you for a lovely review :) I'm always interested by characters that you both love and hate, I'd love to see how her story unfolds. The info for the book on Amazon doesn't give much information at all, but after reading your review I'm willing to give the book a try.

I liked reading the panelist's review in that it showed the facts of the book, and the established rating based on very few errors for the adventure book. It looks like a great book through the psychological psyche with travel and cultures into human-mind as great subject-lines, and therefore give congrats on making the day's BOTD!

I will enjoy a mind's travel through past lives. I'm interested to see how Elisa is dealing with such power of controlling people minds. Thank you for your review!
