One question has been coming up in my mind since I started reading this book. The question is, “Is it possible that there is some creature out there that has a job to ensure that disasters happen and people die?” I think this tells a lot about how much of an influence a good book can have on the reader. I also enjoyed the way the story ended in an unpredictable way. This is sure to leave the reader in awe.

What a scary question! But I get your point, it's also an intriguing thought and the kind that, as you say, stays with you long after you finish the book.
I usually don't read fantasy, but this book seems to be worthy of an exception. Thank you for such a compelling review!
