This is an amazing women`s fiction novel highlighting motherhood, the disappearance of a child, emotionally draining marriages, and mystery. The book is temporarily free on Amazon Kindle and has an inciteful OnlineBookClub review. I can`t wait to get my hands on this book.

This seems to be a fascinating family story of both humans and lions. I am a fan of Simba, so count me in. I am also curious to find out the technique that the author uses in lieu of chapters.

The beginning of the book is very realistic and appears to have been written by someone who actually endured either an abusive relationship, had to experience relocating their family, or had the experience of having abused alcohol at some point in their life. Possibly all three!

I have not gotten to the part of the book where both the human and animal worlds meet, but I will have to say that I am looking forward to it, as it is a unique sounding concept to base a story on.

What a unique concept for a story: narratives from both the human and animal world. This sounds like a heart-wrenching book--I can't imagine Maggie's horror in realizing that her daughter has gone missing! Hopefully everything works out in the end; thanks for the lovely review.

Classic fictional tale highlighting the events taking place in two different worlds --the human world and the animal world. Both Maggie and princess Kazi (a lioness) are lead characters in such an amazing plot. The story essentially narrates events all women finding empowerment in their struggle. Quite an interesting review, Nerea. Thanks.

Your review makes this book sounds very interesting, mixing a human and an animal story. No better setting for such a combination than Africa!

I’m interested to see how the author transitions between the human and animal aspects and ultimately intertwines them. This sounds challenging, but the fact that you feel this is easy to read and that the lack of defined chapters are not a hindrance puts me at ease.

These type of emotional book really make an impact on the reader when they get really attached to the main character. Even I got attached to the main character which was really awesome. Great review.

"When Lions Roar" by Karen Leigh Gruber - A gripping story, set in Africa. Connected with folklore about the animals of Africa, and one woman's fight for self-worth. Thanks for the impressive review.

This sounds a unique story. It’s great the author has intertwined the animal kingdom and the human race without confusion. Sounds good, also that the descriptions of Africa are so good. Thank you for a great review.

An emotionally gripping story that merges human and animal worlds is nicely presented in the book "When Lions Roar" by Karen Leigh Gruber. The story follows Maggie and a lion princess, Kazi , whose life suddenly changes after disappearance of a young girl, Hannah. The story appears quite appealing.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.
